In this episode, Electronic Sound co-founder Mark Roland chats to his bandmate Paul Thompson about the forthcoming re-release of their band Globo’s 1995 debut LP ‘Pro War’. They also dig out Paul’s copy of P.i.L’s ‘Metal Box’ album, and some other gems from his collection.

It’s All About Vinyl is a podcast about records and the stories that cling to them. Each episode explores the history, culture and happy accidents behind recorded music, from spinning speeds and forgotten formats to music magazines, charts and the people who shaped how we listen.
It’s a chatty, curious look at vinyl and the analogue world around it: part music history, part trivia, part conversation. Whether you’re a serious collector, a casual listener, or someone who’s ever said “I’ve got that on vinyl”, this is a show about why records still matter – and why they always will.
