On 1 March Ravenswood & Friends will return to Walthamstow’s vibrant industrial estate for a fundraiser to support Eat Or Heat, a local food bank dedicated to fighting food poverty. Now entering its seventh year, this well-loved event has become a staple of the community, featuring an impressive lineup of DJs and performances that cater to all ages.
From the afternoon until midnight, attendees can enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with a diverse array of musical talent. Headlining this year’s event is the legendary DJ Hype, alongside the iconic X-Press 2, Hoverian Blur, Miggs, Drumskull, and more. Local talent will also take the decks, showcasing the vibrant music scene in Walthamstow.
This year, Ravenswood & Friends is expanding to include special ‘Takeovers‘ from respected labels such as West Norwood Cassette Library and Lo Recordings, with local promoters such as ITB also joining in.
The 2024 event successfully raised an impressive £18,000 for Eat Or Heat, and the organisers aim to exceed that this year, raising funds for a much needed service.
