Electronic trio announces Video-On-Demand event

Manchester’s ambient experimenters Marconi Union have a video-on-demand event running live until midnight on 6 March 2023. We have three free passes to give away. To be in with a chance of winning one, sign up to our mailing list here:

Filmed in an intimate setting with their live visuals, director John Surdevan invites the viewer into the world of Marconi Union.

‘A Live Connection‘ is in two parts with total running time 1 hour 14 minutes.

Part 1: Drawing from the span of their back-catalogue with an emphasis on the more expansive, textural side of their sound, it demonstrates just how the band have built a substantial worldwide following despite rarely playing live.

Part 2: Features the band performing material from their most recent album ’Signals’, showcasing the rhythmic aspect of the band’s sound alongside their ever-present sense of atmosphere and melody.

’A Live Connection’ will be available to watch as unlimited video-on-demand (VOD) from Thursday 23rd February 2023 to Monday 6th March 2023.

Marconi Union play a rare live gig at Rich Mix on 17 June: Tom Middleton presents Global Communication/GCOM [Live AV] x Marconi Union [Live AV Transmission]. Tickets are available here.
