Exclusive to Electronic Sound, an early bird listen to a previously unreleased remix taken from the forthcoming two-CD deluxe hardback book release of Erasure’s 1995 self-titled album
‘Erasure’ was the duo’s seventh album, first released in October 1995. It was produced by Thomas Fehlmann of The Orb and famed electronic music producer Gareth Jones, and saw the band take a more introspective and experimental path, with a guest vocal from provocative avant garde vocal diva Diamanda Galás.
The lavish reissue will include a booklet with exclusive photos by Herbie Knott and brand new sleeve notes by Electronic Sound’s Mat Smith. CD2 of the package will include four previously unreleased tracks, including the remix above, along with B-Sides, demos, classic remixes, rarities and a live acoustic version.
