ES Session alumnus releases new EP

Halina Rice, the London electronic producer and audio-visual artist, has a new EP out, ‘New Basis‘.

“There are long harmonic progressions with the feel of a classical composition but
created in an electronic style,” says Rice. ”The process of creating the tracks encompasses multi-layered percussion, often derived from foley recordings, but paired with detuned synths and sampling.”

She will premiere the full EP live at London’s Village Underground on 3 October, with a special immersive audio visual live show with a tour scheduled for spring 2024.

In the meantime, you can check out her immersive Electronic Sound session here.
