Releasing eight EPs and three albums in six years, you might presume Canadian producer Khotin is short on sleep. Although listening to ‘Finds You Well’ makes you wonder whether Khotin in fact dreams with his eyes open, cerebellum hooked up to the nearest DAW. It’s a work of nostalgic ambience and eerie samples that play on the darker edges of the subconscious – think BOC with a softer shell and an occasionally disarming groove. Press play on ‘Your Favourite Building’ and melt away. Impressive.
