Ex-Pulled Apart By Horses Electronic Project
As a member of Pulled Apart by Horses, James Adrian Brown was notorious for live performances so energetic he would often end up wounded. Since leaving the band in 2022, he’s forged a less injury-prone solo career creating electronic music.
He cites Boards Of Canada, Rival Consoles, Floating Points and Thom Yorke as influences, and his music uses analogue synths alongside tape machines, piano, strings and walls of ambient atmospherics.
His latest release, ‘There Is Space Under Your Seat‘, is released by the ever-excellent Castles In Space label as a limited edition of 200 red vinyl seven-inch singles. There is more material in the blocks. Watch this (Castle In) space.
