Ocean Moon is the solo alias of Lo Recordings’ prolific co-founder Jon Tye, whose iridescent ambient/new age visions are complemented here by an array of similarly gifted talent. The likes of Richard Norris, The Advisory Circle’s Jon Brooks and Zombi’s Steve Moore suffuse this near-perfect album with radiant astral light, and carry us gliding through pellucid sequences of elegant celestial poetry. The peak comes in the form of the kosmische-hued ‘Forest Motion’, a transcendent, spiritualised beauty.
